IMITREX is used for migraine attacks with or without aura. It is an antimicrobial agent.
Composition: the main active ingredient is sumatriptan.

How does the drug work?
The therapeutic effect occurs within 30 minutes after application. The drug acts exclusively on the brain, constricts blood vessels and stops a migraine attack. Prevents hallucinations. It has a sedative, relaxing effect.
How to take and dosage.
Inside, the tablet should be swallowed whole with water. Treatment should be started as early as possible when a migraine attack occurs. The recommended dose is 50 mg, if necessary, 100 mg.
If the symptoms of migraine do not disappear and do not decrease after taking the first dose, then the drug is not used again to stop the same attack.
The maximum dose per day is 300 mg.
Side effects: dizziness, drowsiness, impaired sensitivity, increased blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, feeling of heaviness, pain.
Contraindications: heart disease, pregnancy, breastfeeding period, hypersensitivity to the component.
