How to take and dosage.

Dose, frequency of administration and duration of treatment are determined individually. The maximum dose for adults is 800 mg / day. As a rule, danazol is used in the smallest effective dose.

Side effects and contraindications.

Side effects: amenorrhea, flushing of the face, increased sweating, decrease in the size of the mammary glands, changes in libido, vaginitis, emotional lability, nervousness, acne, increased secretion of the sebaceous glands, slight hirsutism, edema, weight gain, coarsening of the voice, androgenetic alopecia, spermatogenesis disorders.
Contraindications: severe violations of the liver and / or kidneys, chronic heart failure, porphyria, thromboembolic disorders (including history), androgen-dependent tumors, vaginal bleeding of unknown origin, breast cancer, carcinoma, pregnancy, lactation, hypersensitivity to danazol.
