Description:
Zestoretic is a combination drug that reduces the degradation of bradykin and increases the synthesis of prostaglandins.
It is used for: arterial hypertension, chronic heart failure, treatment of acute myocardial infarction, diabetic nephropathy.
Composition and analogues of the drug.
The main active ingredient in the composition is: lisinopril and hydrochlorothiazide.

Dosing regimen.
For arterial hypertension who do not receive other hypertensive drugs, patients are prescribed 5 mg. every day. In the absence of effect, the dose can be increased to 20-40 mg. per day.
Side effects and contraindications.
Side effects: nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, dry mouth, decreased potency, itchy skin, increased sweating, sleep disturbance, feeling cold, numbness of the extremities.
Contraindications: arterial hypotension, cardiogenic shock, chronic heart failure, hypersensitivity to atenolol.
