Leukeran is a drug used in malignant diseases such as Hodgkin’s disease, malignant lymphomas, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, Waldensterm’s macroglobulinemia.

Composition and Analogues.

Dosing regimen.

In Hodgkin’s disease: 0.2 mg / kg of body weight per day for 4-8 weeks.
Non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas – in the form of a combination therapy, the drug is taken first at 0.1-0.2 mg / kg of body weight.
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia – 0.15 mg of body weight.
Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinemia – 6-12 mg/kg per day. Daily.

Side effects and contraindications.

Side effects: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, convulsions, lymphopenia.
Contraindications: pregnancy, breastfeeding, hypersensitivity to the drug.
